Allocation Announcements are made by the NSW Office of Water on the 15th of each month.
NOTE: All water users in the Murrumbidgee valley cannot use more than 100 per cent of their licensed entitlement in any water year. This includes allocation, carry-over and any water diverted from supplementary flows. The only exceptions to this are if licensed users have specific supplementary flow licences or buy additional water on the market.

- General security inter-state trades closing date of 30 April 2014
- Intra-valley trades within Murrumbidgee Valley and inter-valley trades within NSW close 12 noon on Friday 30 May 2014.
- All temporary trading within the CICL licence 12 noon on Friday 30 May 2014
All water users are reminded that the water sharing plan for the Murrumbidgee Regulated River water source rules apply from July 1 2012.
Temporary Water Trading - OPEN
Trades Into Murrumbidgee Recommence 28 Jan 14
NSW Water Commissioner, David Harriss, today announced that the imbalance in water trade in the Murrumbidgee Valley had now eased and that trade of allocated water INTO the Murrumbidgee Valley would recommence via a ballot.
State Water would conduct the ballot and applications for trades of account water INTO the Murrumbidgee Valley will be accepted from 30 January until 10 February 2014.

If you wish to participate in this ballot process please have your completed Coly WM-08 form and State Water form to us before 9am Monday 10 February 2014.
Fee payment is required as normal – WM-08 = $130 to CICL and 71Q application = max $150 to State Water

Carryover into 2013/2014 -As at the 31 January 2011, the NSW Office of Water announced the statutory water sharing plans would recommence as from 1 July 2011. This includes the Murrumbidgee Water Sharing Plan.
Under the Water Sharing Plan, General Security Carryover will be 30% and High Security Carryover will be 0% of your total water entiltlement.
Trade Rules will also resume under the Water Sharing Plan.
