Farm Innovation Fund Information Brochure - Tuesday, February 24, 2015

The NSW Government has recently announced a number of measures to assist farmers to prepare for future Droughts. A number of these measures are still being finalised, however they have committed to the popular Farm Innovation Fund with $50m to be provided over the next 5 years. Features of this initiative are:

· Funds of up to $250,000 are provided for capital works to improve long term profitability and address adverse seasonal conditions. This may include for example, a Pivot Irrigator or Grain Silo.

· Interest rate of 2.5% fixed for the term of the loan, up to a maximum of 20 years.

· Repayments are made in line with Cashflow.

· Security is provided by a Statutory Charge and Registered Caveat over the property. Whilst not a Mortgage, this ensures the RAA loan has priority over an existing bank loan against the property.

· Nil establishment fee. Applicant will meet registration and stamp duty costs.

The document below is an Information Sheet and further details can be found on the RAA website: www.raa.nsw.gov.au

CICL Auction Site - Monday, January 13, 2014

Customers,

CICL is introducing a new Auction Site to sell second hand items that are surplus to its needs.  The site can be accessed through a link on the left of the CICL website at www.colyirr.com.au

Access to the site is limited to CICL shareholders.  The user name and password is the same as to access the CICL water ordering website Waterways.  If you do not have a user name and password contact CICL and staff will assist you.

At this stage it is planned to have only one auction at a time running.  The initial item is 5 dropboards starting at 5 dollars.  This is a real auction with the winning bidder liable to pay the winning price.  However, we will also be using the auction of this fairly innocuous item to fine tune the site.

Terms and conditions are on the auction website.

If you have any suggestions or comments, we would love to hear them particularly around the best closing time for the weekly auctions.

If you have any questions please contact CICL.
